Family portrait of Nick, Leah and their 2 boys

About Us

Hi! We are Nick and Leah Smith. First and foremost, thank you for visiting our page—we truly appreciate your interest and support! We are a family-owned and operated Men’s and Women’s Health Clinic that offers a variety of services to help optimize your life. We’ve been married since November 2021 and are proud parents to two little boys, Beckham and Bennett. We met while working in the Emergency Department at Research Medical Center, a certified Level 1 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI hospital, and together, we have over 15 years of combined medical experience. Our passion for helping others brought us together, and we’ve formed a special bond through our shared love of healthcare. We enjoy traveling, sports, trying new restaurants, working out, and, most importantly, spending quality time as a family.

About Nick

Nick began his healthcare career in 2017 as a Registered Nurse in the ER at Research Medical Center. He later earned his master’s degree in Family Nurse Practice from UCM and is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Nick currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in a busy ER in Kansas City.

After working through the COVID-19 pandemic and experiencing the fast-paced environment of the ER, Nick was inspired to create this clinic to help people improve their lives beyond the hospital walls. Before entering healthcare, Nick graduated from UCM in 2015 with a degree in Sport Management. However, his desire to help others more directly led him to shift into the medical field. When he’s not working, Nick enjoys living an adventurous life. He’s been busy obtaining his private pilot license and has a deep passion for aviation. He also loves scuba diving during his vacations.

About Leah

Leah began her healthcare career in 2016 in Austin, TX, working on a Neuro-Ortho floor. After a year of nursing experience, she transitioned to Emergency Room nursing. After two years in Austin, Leah returned home to Kansas City, where she started in the ER at Research Medical Center, which is where she met Nick. She briefly explored the world of Interventional Radiology with a few travel nursing contracts before welcoming her first child in 2022. Since then, Leah has embraced her most important role—staying home to raise her boys.

She is excited to help Nick with the business, as it allows her to continue helping others while having the flexibility to care for her children and explore the world of entrepreneurship.
